Who's going, and from where - me and P are heading along from one of the Staffordshire starts, possibly hooking up with the Tarmac Terrorists....

I am either going for M40 Warwick , or one on the M5 depending on the direction we will be going on the rest of the ride out. Will do the m5 if my loop run is going to be out to Shropshire etc.

Looked good on M27. good turn out and no rain for you boys.

On the M40 there was a good turnout, just found this clip on YouTube, but it started pissing down 3 mins after we set off. There was a lot of wet beards amongst the open face and sun glasses crowd on their Harleys, and Paulas jeans were so wet, she couldnt get off the bike :?

We had a little spattering of drizzle. I didnt mind but 3 Harlies fainted and one refused to move any further.

It was a similar story on the M56. I was really shocked by the turn out, I was expecting 10s of people. Must have been a few hundred there!

No photos but we set off from Strensham services on the M5 northbound. Rough guesstimate between 250 and 300 bikes.
Something must have got lost in translation as 45mph in the inside lane turned into 15mph across all 3 lanes of the motorway......oh dear
3/4 of an hour to do 2 junctions (approx 12 miles) . Pissed down all the way there, during and on the ride home, only for the sun to come out as we pulled up outside the house. Soaked through but a great experience. Now lets hope the buggers sit up and take notice.

M25 South Mimms was also a good turnout, parked next to me was a chap with a Gpz550 even tattier than mine, we started chatting and it turns out he is there from MCN and asked why I was there and could he have a quote. I was anti EU in general and in particular their interfering in matters that should not concern them i.e. this one!

On the ride itself we blocked all three lanes of the M25 for three junctions, turned round at Waltham Abbey and held up all three lanes going back!!

It is odd though the ride was meant to be at 45 mph, there must be something very wrong with my speedo, didnt see more than 30.

No police on the ride, they got us onto the M25 and cleared off
