Funny you should say petrol lol.

Cause this morning I was still half asleep when I arrived at the petrol station. Gets off the bike at the self service pump and proceeded to fill her up with feckin diesel  The tank was about half full of petrol before I started filling. As it was reaching the top I was looking down and thinking that petrol has a funny colour and smell to it. Then the penny dropped fcuk sake.

Luckily Im only 300 yards or so from home so make it back to my garage.

Managed to drain everything tonight and flush through with clean fuel. Just had her ticking over for half an hour or so. Will take her for a blast tomorrow.

Im a lucky boy!!!! (but a feckin idiot too) What can I do with 15litres of 50/50 mix of petrol and diesel????

well your not the first and deffo won't be the last to do that m8...once saw a bloke jump a queue to fillup and in the inseuing arguement with an irrate woman about being on empty,he just grabbed the nozzle and started to fillup, the woman went quiet until he'd filled up then pointed out he'd just put diesel in his bike...

as for the 50/50 mix...petrol mowers and strimmers run quite well on it...

And chainsaws!

And Benny's ped!

And any diesel car in the winter, just splash a bit in each tankful.

And mix some with fertiliser for spectacular results....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
