No, you mean cameras.
Cams are the lumpy things inside the engine that once made larger, longer, or better profiled, make the world go backwards, very fast indeed.

Cameras are for those who want to make it look as though they can ride fast by putting a lens near the road surface, or who wish to provide concrete evidence so that the old bill have an excuse to ban them.

Different.

Am I being cynical, or is watching a video of someone riding a bike as alien to the experience of actually riding a bike as video porn is to sex?

Comments. please....

i think cameras are useful if you are following a mate, and recording their riding, you might be able to spot mistakes and be able to correct them next time out. also i thought it was funny when i watched the rear facing camera footage from one of our fellow members, because you get to see what car drivers are up to, very scary the lack of concentration shown by other road users, i bet they pay more attention if pc plod was next to them.....
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

My use for a cam or camera is to prove blame in the event of a crash

I don't use cameras. Think its a silly idea. However if I was to get one, I would make sure there adequate product support available and the ability to flash your device to deal with any issues that may arise. Something that is used and tested by loads of like minded people. Just saying. :P

Also, be careful when using it for evidence as it can back fire on you unless you are 100% within the law the whole time you are using the camera.
