Hi all~!

Post by crazykyy »

Hello everyone!

My name is Kyle Jaquess and I am a graduate student at California State University, San Bernardino, as well as an avid motorcyclist. I've been riding for about 4 years with still so much to learn.

I am currently working on a research project examining the behaviors of motorcyclists. The survey details are still getting finalized, but I hope to get some support from the riding community on various forums for participation in this project.

So if you'll keep an eye out in the next couple months, I will post again with more details :)

Thanks for reading!

That'll be interesting, I had to sit psychometric testing for a bunch of job interviews a while back, it struck me that they were surprisingly easy to manipulate, but then, perhaps the old double bluff was kicking in.....
Or was it the old triple bluff, where the bluffer wants you to find the easy ways to manipulate n answer so that they could see how manipulative you are......

Anyway, to defeat even that I gave a random answer every third question, and a deliberately provocative one every fifth.

They employed me after all, so I can only assume that no-one actually read the things, they just wanted to see if you would put up with filling in forms.....
And perhaps whether you could write joined-up.

And hello!

Unless you actually have a VTR1000 (superhawk to you lot) I'm afraid you might not get a lot of sense, though.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

yeh i did same... i thought this is bollox, so i just put down anything. randomly.
half the time i didnt even read the question.
but i was very surprised with the results.... couldnt have described myself better tbh 8O
it was actually scary accurate!

regarding biker psychology.... there are bikers and there are motorcyclists.
and there are poseurs who just buy into the image.
and those who see it as a way of being accepted into a social thing.
some see it as a cheap form of transport.
some are born to ride, for them biking is a way of life and probably will be til they drop.
i like to think i am the latter.... as well as the passion for riding, the freedom of the open road, the roar of the engine, the rush of power & speed... its the engineering side of it, being a born spanner monkey & tinkerer, petrol for blood, bones of carbon steel!

so what group are you?
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
