fuel pump fitment

Has anyone fitted a fuel pump to there storm ? im loosing my fuel tank and making a fibreglass dummy tank for my dragbike so need to know if its as simple as fitting a pump from another large capacity carb model bike ? :confused

yeh m8 its pretty straight forward.
i fitted a pentax pump off a volvo, as long as its a low pressure pump.... you can also use a pump off a zx6 or similar.
there was an article on the front page here regarding this mod, i think using a pump off a cbr600.... stops fuel starvation on fast take off :twisted:
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

ok thanks for that, i was looking at a facet pump for 180hp rover engine that runs at 4 psi so shouldnt need a regulator

rover's a bit overkill!!
i'm gonna put a zx9 one on mine when i fit the FCR's, a zx9/zx6 one will be fine for yours.

Walbro 255 lpm fuel pumps are good would drain the tank fast tho. really need 500cc + injectors for that not on carbs :P :)
