Hi all

Thanks for the welcoming replies, as promised here are a few piccies of the bikes in my household :)

My new baby and the one you will all be most interested in.

My cbr600, a labour of love, i had a break from riding when my son was very young but it didnt last long and i needed to get back, but was brassic, this little beastie turned up with a knackered clutch and i gave.......£180........ with an mot :D
So in the space of about 4 months i put in the clutch, welded and reconditioned the downpipes, changed the chain and sprockets, did the wheel bearings, changed both tyres (matching part worns), sprayed and stickered, recovered the seat, fitted a pipe worx end can (not in pic) changed pads and brake fluid and plugs oil and coolant, all done as cheaply as possible and i did everything myself and then me and my best mate went to wales on the august bank holiday weekend and did an 800 mile tour, just shows you dont need loads of money to have a bike, you just need to want it enough :D

And my little boys lt50, this is an older pic, he can touch the pegs now and use the throttle, we ride it together, he makes us go and i sit behind steer and brake, he loves it :D

ive also decided that the ccts want doing for my piece of mind, however, i'm not sure if i could do it on my own, dont suppose any of you more local, helpful, mechanically minded people could find some time for a keen although inexperienced diy mechanic, maybe within the next month to 6 weeks, i wont have the bike on the road til the beginning of march so before then would be fantastic, i'm ok with most things but a bit scared of engines

any offers? can pay in tea and biccies :D
