I got a storm(extra 1) real cheap due to the engine blowing up (and i have a spare motor) which ccts went in it
My question is when we took the sump off the blown motor we found flat metal pieces about 1cm in width and varying sizes up to say 4cm long and paper thin(sorry dont have pics)engine is truly seized and my mate who is pretty savy on bikes reckons the blokes been doing prolonged wheelies which has starved the engine of oil and seized it
He says its the bottom end bearing and im pretty sure hes right so opinions would help heaps all
Also the heads look good so is a straight head swap ok from the seized to the cct motor?????
All help and tips appreciated ill post pics when i can
For a 98 model apart from the engine shes in really good nick and yes she is black (thinking of painting her yellow so i dont get confused with my other yellow beauty)
