Just got a VTR!

Post by IanP »

Hello all from Southampton.

Just got a 98 Silver Firestorm. So far so good, it has had quite a few (read loads) owners but seems sound. Has got 33k on the clock. I believe it has the standard CCT's fitted so thats the first thing I'd like to change. I would also like to raise the bars a bit too, what do folk here recommend, bar risers or a handlebar conversion?

Changing the CCT is not something that I want to tackle myself (though I can use a spanner occasionally). So if anyone knows of a good reliable mechanic in southern Hampshire that would be useful.

Cheers Ian

Welcome to the madhouse Ian!

I'm just up the road in Winchester, I did my CCTs and as said it's pretty easy. I'm happy to help if you want to pop up this way. I have all the tools required.

Especially as you have the best colour 'Storm!!

Just drop me a PM when you want to do the CCTs.

I'm often up at Loomies on Weds evenings and Sundays. It's a bikers cafe that does really nice food.

Its a few yards south of the junction of the A272 and A32 if you don't already know.

Zoom in on that junction on Google Maps and you'll see it!
