It's a good price, considering that ring sets are nearly £50 each....
But then the exchange rate to dollars isn't too bad at the moment.

As long as the bores are in good nick, all you need to buy is a full bearing set, get the bores lightly honed, and four new big end bolts.

Might as well fit a new set of valve seals while you're there, and all good for another 50K.

You should get an easy 110-115 BHP, plus torque gains.
did you get back to me with a price for a rebuild tony
with these pistons, maybe cams/porting/polishing and all the other bits and pieces. what sort of price would you charge for a rebuild(labour/mates rates  ) mate....

If I had a spare engine and the funds, I would love to strip one down and rebuild with them. Interesting shape to the crown, Seems like rather than have the combustion have it's energy spread across the whole flatt of a standard one. This seems to squash it more in the centre forcing the energy more around the outside. Or is that more directly under the valves as ot seems to be spit into 4 quarters. MMMmmm Intersting!

Are the ring's to go in there non standard. And hows the ring flutter with these?

2002 newer model firestorm with just over 10,000 kiles on the clock, with some nice extras, for sale on ebay, and its the best colour, hence the asking price of £2,250
worth every penny just because of the colour

OK I'm up to £33.44.

Now if you want parts next time you need them, don't bid against me.
