Re: brake line kits.
two separate for the front and a single for the rear
and one for the clutch
and one for the clutch

Re: brake line kits.
aha ! well ive had a bit more of a look and the three line kit is standard and a 2 line kit is an "over the mudguard " set ?? i dont think either include the rear brake/clutch though??

Re: brake line kits.
you dont really need the rear as it dont get used as hard as the front .
and the clutch gives better feel when it grabs
for the front just get the kit with to long pipes not the over mud guard kit
you will also need 4 p clips to keep them tidy

Re: brake line kits.
Also go for stainless steel or the cheaper zinc plated fittings, but not anodised alloy for road use

Re: brake line kits.
Try a Venhill kit if you can.
I fitted Goodridge brake lines and struggled getting the lines on without twisting, the ends are crimped on and hard to rotate for a good fit.
Got a Venhill clutch line and its far superior, the banjo fittings are threaded so the line screws on to them, dead easy to get a good fit. They have chromed fittings instead of cadmium plated so should stay nice for longer too

Re: brake line kits.
just had a look at whats on the bike and from the brake lever it goes to a splitter then to each caliper so guess what i need is a 3 line kit?.

Re: brake line kits.
You don't have to go that way, you can just run two hoses from the M/C, one to either caliper. That's the set up on mine and it works fine.lumpyv wrote:just had a look at whats on the bike and from the brake lever it goes to a splitter then to each caliper so guess what i need is a 3 line kit?.
