I used to think that way, but he is at the moment, possibly the best rider in the world, and I applaud him for not being greedy, quitting at the top and going off to enjoy his life, money, and new young family.

Don't blame him after the sh1t Rossi delt out when he was up there even tho he was behind. Let's hope he finishes on top. He's still a Legend and he COULD ride and WIN on the sh1t box of a Ducati :biggrin :biggrin . Where's Rossi going after this.

Whether you like him or not, he is an incredible talent.

Fair play to him I say!

They all whinge when they aint winning. And I do actually have a 'The Doctor' sticker on the back of my van, so I'm not in any way biased towards Casey.

And Simo's right, he could ride and win on that Ducati, no one else has.

Hated him at first, but now I am a big fan, he says it like it is, and he works bloody hard, no showman performances for the press...and he could well be one of the best racers we have ever seen.

Will be a shame when he's gone

Yes he could ride the Duke, but that was before, this is now, could he still ride the Duke and win. I don't think so..Rossi is and will always be one of the greatest riders ever. we all know he can ride but the Duke is not up to the job..

CS........shut the door on your way...

Well Rossi is quite probably the greatest ever, but he aint even beating his own team mate on a regular basis nowadays.

Aye but the Duke would still be virtually the same as when Stoner got off it but Rossi couldn't ride it,now it's more like a Honda/Yam chassis and Rossi still can't. :biggrin

The Doctor does it for me. But basically all those guys are near enough as good as each other and it comes down to the bike and the team.

One word, GOOD.

Good rider but a crap personality, he's no Guy Martin is he? Now there's a bloke who I get, cup of tea then thrash the fook out of a bike. Good lad.

You can all fook off, Stoner is amazing i've loved watching him dominate in 2007 and again last year, it wasn't nice all the stick he got when he was ill in 2010 and ducati not backing him as well, when he was better he came back and thrashed the rest again

And i thaught it was great when he said to rosi
hows your shoulder? your ambtiion out weights your tallent
Rossi is an amazing rider and traction and ambassador for the sport, ok stoner is no MotoGP ambassador but what a rider what a rider!! He will be missed, even Rossi said he will be sorely missed in his recent interview

Still hope he wins the championship and changes his mind at the end of the season
