That's pretty good for a first effort.
I ran an aquarium shop many years ago and made / constructed loads of ponds.

The trick is to keep enough shade on the water so that it doesn't go green for the first few years until the vegetation in the pond uses up most of the nutrition.

Like the sculpture- a bit Gollum....

Got a filter installed?
(I skipped to 4 mins as instructed, so if it's video'd earlier ignore me).

My pond has a dinghy moored up alongside it; the water is pumped into it then runs out of the bilge pipe in the rear.
The dinghy's planted with Norfolk reeds, which filter the water naturally, and don't ever need to be cleaned out.

Seems to work ok.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
