Cure for clutch rattle anyone??
My clutch grumbles and when I pull the lever in it don't .
Re: Cure for clutch rattle anyone??
If the noise disappears when the clutch is pulled in then it has to be the clutch, and isn't the cct's.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Awesome, I think I just have a bit of clutch rattle then and its not the CCTs
Thats a good bit of news. Still going to test for stopper mod though and change the clutch fluid whilst Im at it. Might help a bit.
Cheers.

I don't have a puncture, and it doesn't pull to the left under braking.mad4it028 wrote:no clutch rattle or any other kind of rattle on mine or my frined that i ride with who also has a storm

Just the link pipes will do :-)

Replacing the clutch centre needle roller and top hat shaped sleeve on the clutch shaft will quieten it a great deal, but it never really goes away.
It's a combination of that bearing and the play in the clutch plate tongues as they sit in the basket.
