Hello, I've been looking into soldering and kits on ebay and what not, not got a ferking clue what i need to get what solder to use what wattage etc etc

Any one near me or not to far that can solder and has all the required kit already? i can pay a little for some one to solder four wires for me (Stick Coils)

i could do it for you it would only take a minute to do 8)
but it will take you hours to get here lol

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Seb I've got just the mate very near to you he is a very good mate of mine and he has re wired about 3 of my projects he's cheap if not free he's in Atherton it'll take him all of 5 mins to do it he has all the gear I'll pm you his number if needed just drop them off or wait he's building a Robin pick up dragster thing at the mo :x :lol: he's a nut :lol:

Something like this works for me- high enough wattage (50W) to reach solder melting temp if used outdoors.

Depends on your usage, though.
And how much you want to spend....

I used to have one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Snap-On-Blue- ... 1c279917b7 excellent bit of kit. There are cheaper brands out there.

Seb, soldering is as easy as wiring a plug. That's if you remember the days when we had to put our own plugs on electrical items. :)

Or the old school way heat a knife up on the cooker to melt the solder on to the wires :)
