A friend of mine who is on the short side, rides a CBR600RR and has had it lowered now finds the bike is nearly vertical on the side stand and also has a tendency to want to fall over. We suggested maybe trying to obtain a slightly shorter side stand....could this also solve your problem?

A lowering kit deals with the shock linkage, affecting the bottom end of the bike. Completey different from a shock spacer.

Dear Dr Storm

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for those wonderful suggestions, (hang on let me sit down...............ahh that's better)

Now then, where was I?

Oh yes, those wonderful replies

I thought I would try them all, so I started with this one from Firestorm1997 (though I know that's just a pseudonym)

We suggested maybe trying to obtain a slightly shorter side stand

And I thought of a great money saving idea............Just shorten it! Bingo

Out came the hack saw, alas, it fell over when the side stand sank in the grass

What shall I do now Dr Storm??

Ps why do you insist on using fictitious names?

I mean......come on!.............bigspanishmarty??

Why would the spanish have bigger smarties than us?

Yours,

Flatout..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I must say that I am looking forward to reading your replies, perhaps you could add a few more names
