Eddie,
You definitely need to get the bike re-jetted.
Mine was running way rich on a standard filter and felt a lot better when I put a pipercross one in.
Only trouble was it bogged down badly up to 4000 revs

Once I got it re-jetted it made a huge difference

The pic in the gallery is a comparison of
Mine with Pipercross and Remus high level road legals (red)
As above but re-jetted by Roger at Revolution (crimson)
Geoff M K&N, dynojet stage 3, Remus race high levels (yellow)

The K&N has a smaller aperture so gives more midrange but the pipercross is purely filter so gives a bit more up top (even with road legal cans)

Jet kit has finally been added. Peak power now up to 105BHP, with gains thru the rev range.

Red line is K+N filter, Micron Beta race cans
Blue line is the same after jet kit fitted

Lookin Good Eddie 8)
I noticed in the small print it also says the stubs have been modified.
Is that the short mariwoki ones or have the std ones been modded in some way?

Hi pete

I'm guessing its the standard stubs that have been modded somehow, as this is the first engine work I've had done. Must be honest and admit that i don't know what inlet stubs are

hi guys and girls. not been on for a while, interesting reading the dyno runs.
in answer to the question about the "inlet stubs", its the two plastic bell mouths the funnel air into the carbs in the bottom of the air box. its a very simple mod and will make the throttle response alot better. all you have to do is remove your air filter asnormal and u will see two plastic funnels going into your carbs held in by 2 screws, you need to remove the rear one and shorten it or buy a front one and fit it to the rear. the reason this is done it to allow better air flow to the rear cylinder, trust me it works. just look at my dyno read out 115bhp at the wheel.
