Re: alternative way to get fuel into engine
i have just taken my air box off to see the carbs under neath the carbs there is a really long pipe going out under the bike which seems its just a breather pipe alough its not connected to anything any ideas where it shud be connected to ?
Re: alternative way to get fuel into engine
Need a pic of what your talking about. How big's the pipe. But under the carbs you have the water reservoir bottle which has an overflow on it. You have the two water hoses that attach to each carb, there's the pipe that links the two carbs together. There's also the two hoses, one on each carb that feed air to the carb diaphrams. These could either hang loose or be fed through the holes in the middle of carbs on the carb brackets. On mine I also have the front vacuum take off coming across that way. Have you a hose in the front cylinder for vacuum.
Just guessing here so need a pic please.

Tgat goes the the nubbin sticking out the carb that you can just see in the pic mate, its for the coolant, there should be a pinch clip on the hose ;-)

Re: alternative way to get fuel into engine
if u look at pic u can see there a pipe on the nubbin behind with a clip if u look at other side of carb its the same only that pipe its a pip going between the carbs and there is no pipe for the extra nubbin on the oyther side so i assumned it cudnt go there as why wud one side have an extra pipe and not the other that pipe is a breather it goes out under the bike

Here's a pic of mine mate (upside down)
There is a hose that connects the two carbs together and the other two nubbins connect to the bike.
Is yours the same bud?

Re: alternative way to get fuel into engine
mine has that hose that connects between them and then those 2 nubbins have no pipes on them was told the pipe i have that i cnt find where toi place it the breather pipe aparently goes on the other nubbin next to the one wid the pipe between the 2 but wat i dnt understand is why wud there be one on one side but no pipe there for the other side ?
u say the other nubbin goes to the bike alough the pipe i have only goes down and under bike as a breather

Re: alternative way to get fuel into engine
That's the one then mate, when I take the 'outside' pies off, coolant fluid comes out, do I would say they are not breathers...
In this Iv you can see the pipes tgat connect to the outside nubbins

You can see the one near the front cylinder (that's the one your asking about i think)
And the other you can just see by the rear cylinder inlet below the big breather pipe (hard to explain)
