How much grease did you pack in. Did you get grease on outside of the seals where they meet the surface. :confused Seals should be quite a tight fit.
What time do you want to liase!!!Ohhh Errr
I will meet up at Martys at whatever time he says when he replies. It's probably more direct for you to meet us at the cafe. Don't know, where's the cafe.

Today I put my exhaust back on the Fazer and filled the cooling system, then went for a ride on the Storm, took the trolley Jack back to my mate.

I took out the black outer seal and then the small seal on the actual bearing. I filled the bearing, put the bearing seal back on then i put a bit of grease inside the recess of the black outer seal....

What has flung out is hopefully the last of what's going to come out

I reckon you'll get more out before it stops.

That's what I though mate, I think I'll whip the wheel back off and take the outside seal of to wipe the excess off.

I think it should be molybdenum disulfide grease (moly) or bearing grease as it may be called which I think is moly grease with another name to make it easier for people. General purpose stuff does thin out/melt a bit with heat.

Nah you wont have ruined them, you just used the wrong grease. I think the moly is designed for high friction areas and higher temps. The problem with the multi purpose is it goes all runny when it heats up.

Whats the best way to get the grease out of the bearings once it's inside?

Or would you just force a load of the proper stuff in?

Kitchen towel and fingers. Get as much as you can out and just replace with good stuff. You can get moly grease in Halfords or any auto spares places.

Did you see Lloydie wants the tank mate!

had a laugh today, went for a ride with carlos, kev and lee, then when i got home i sprayed my spare rear subframe with satin black hammerite, i'm not impressed with it tho, i think its my fault for sanding down the subframe to much, perhaps i should have used an etch primer first
carl helped me fit a freshly painted rear rocker cover, we couldn't be arsed to do the front one because i've got shite tools....
great weather and good company, all in all a good day, oh well its a shame i've got to go to work this evening...
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
