Operation Storm: Destination Derbyshire III Videos & Photos

Post by geodude »

I'll be posting the videos here.

Feel free to post your photos here too. Posting them here means you are giving me permission to use them in the videos

I can't be assed to remove the number plates as it will take forever so if you don't want your numberplate visible, let me know what it is in a PM and i'll remove any footage of the back of your bike.

Cheers.

George

In this video,

* playerone gets left behind - sorry mate
* ukbiker gets the V
* lloydie shows us how to rejoin the pack after marking a roundabout
* Someone hoons it around a roundabout. :o)
* Someone hasn't quite worked out the marking system

I'll remove it if you are not happy with your plate being on here. :cool2

That really shows how effective the marker system is so no one gets lost. Nice.

Was a every good system. Never used a marking system before and just as well it was used other wise us 4 or 5 that were at the back would have gone a different way at that last round about which would have taken us over some nice twisties. Maybe we shall get that road next time

Any videos of the roads in Derbyshire or was the camera dead by that point?

Geo,
I see you found the in pub footage I took when you were outside [sorry about fiddling with your helmet! :D] but you edited out the "down the trousers close up"
keep them coming, and good luck naming everyone as there were such a good turn out of new faces [and wives] that I am not sure who everybody was!

Today I am already having withdrawl symptoms :( so need the videos and photos to keep the buzz going

Some good footage there George, pity you didn't catch my off later on :) Anyone know which program the BBC cameraman in the car park was filming for?

I really thought the marker system was good, and apart from losing Neil at Morrisons in the beginning, it worked a treat. Probably the only time i'll ever find myself leading an SP2

shhh, I still cant believe I managed to loose someone at the beginning, I will be sent back to run leader school for remedial training

but good recovery by Neil because he knew where the next meet up point was and made his way there without any problems [and got there before the rest of us!]
