Well today me and Lloyd fitted my manual CCT's
Just forgot to turn the fuel tap back on
Although when I was parked on his drive he noticed a nice split and graining in my tyre
looks like it is about to get expensive. Any suggestions on tyres? I use my bike every day and it get through a few miles so I need something that will last but also something that is nice a grippy for when I get onto the twisties. Something that gets sticky quick as well would help. Not to bothered on price as the 2 tyres are rather important. Currently have a pair of maxxis diamonds fitted. Not near the tread wear limit but now req changing.
Suggestions welcomed.

no brainer.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

on the front i have a road smart on bike when i got it all acounts you will get 6-8 thousand on.
If i had the money i would have gone road smart j&s i found cheapest fitted free.
But even the qulifier grips like mad

With you useing it more would go the road smart use higher milage even on rear 6-8 they reckon

Ill never be a sell out storm forever

More spraying today.
After a coat of Black and a bit of wet n drying.

Then with another coat of Black.

So if I'm lucky again with the weather, I shall be back out giving it all another rub down as there are still a few imperfections. Not so aggressive this time, and another coat of Black.

Got a couple of cans to give everything a final coat over.
Just trying to decide when to apply the decals. Not sure if I should put them straight onto the Black or give it all a coat of lacquer first then put them on.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Carbtune pro arrived so balanced the carbs.
I won't leave it a few years next time, there was nearly 100% difference
Won't need to now I don't have to borrow one.
Reset idle, reset TPS. Seems to tickover a lot smoother now. Not bloody surprising really
Started quite a lot of popping and coughing so did a bit of reading about what this might be. Possibly vacuum pipes leaking- went and checked they were fine. Started it and it was fine
Got to use my car for work tomorrow as I have to go pick up the missus but I'll try and get out tomorrow evening for a test. Can't be arsed now, just want some food and a beer

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
no disrepect to carl, because he looks like he has done a proper job, but matt or satin black nearly always looks good in pictures, its not until you get up close and personal that the flaws in the paint can really show thru, i look forward to seeing it finished when i get back carlos....

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Your not wrong there mate. Because I know where the flaws are I can see them in the pics. But they are not there now. Since those pics I have put on another two coats of Black with a wet n dry rub down between coats. Got another two to do tomorrow but I wont be wet n drying between the last two as I want to build the layers up a bit as these will be the last two coats of colour. Then It will be left to dry for 48h before I put 1 coat of lacquer on, then let that dry, then decals. Then lots of coats of lacquer with wet n drying between coats. The only thing I should have done in hindsight, is put a couple of coats of high build primer on before the regular primer.

Mostly today I
- Painted the missus's sun shed with eco-friendly creosote stuff - I'm building "Ride Points" for later in the week
- Polished up the link between gear pedal and gear box, it was neglected and as I needed to adjust the pedal height I got some brasso on it - Aluminium that now looks like chrome
