Rh front hanger removal: how?

Will be changing Tasums front rh hanger

It looks as though the swingarm bolt has to be taken out :eek2 :eek2 :eek2

So what's the best method?

You'll need to support the rear end of the bike - hang it from a garage roof / step ladder method

Don't forget to torque the nut back up to spec.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

The back wheel spindle is the same size so you can push it through pushing s/a spindle out keeping every thing in line.

abba stand on the top rear engine bolt, then remove the swing arm spindle :thumbup:

With the swingarm removed it could be the opportunity to renew bearings and grease up the linkages. :thumbup:

Good suggestion, Simo- that's what I do if I haven't got to support the bike from the hoist.
This method works with just a rear paddock stand, no other special tools needed.

Use a chock, though, at the rear of the front wheel, as cup-type paddock stands (as opposed to converted-to-bobbins ones) can "walk" further forward up the SA as you move the bike while working on it.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
