Post by doggit »

guys, just wanted to post this in case you want to take part, it is a ride to the National Memorial Arboretum from 8 different locations, it is to remember the 16000 names that are engraved on the walls of the Armed Forces memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum. more info on the web site and the date is the 6th october, hope to see many firestorms there http://www.ridetothewall.org.uk/start_locations.php

Yeah was thinking about it this year,
but not sure,
being ex military paying my respects to my dead comrades, is a private thing,
and somehow its not about the bike, and its not about dressing up as a psudo hells angel and wearing the beret again, but i dont shout about it ....its just my opinion......its a private thing

Hope this dosent upset anybody who means well by attending

P and I would like to - but our life is very "variable" at times. But if the weathers good enough, and nothing bites us on the butt, we will try and run out...

Fairly local to me so joined at Drayton Manor.

Blimey, never knew there were so many Harley's in the UK. I was just as loud though

Great turnout and nice speech by the Padre.

Nice blast home and now enjoying a cold one.

Kept looking but didn't see any other Storms.

Well I briefly met Whitey, and I admired Robs carbon weave cans but apart from those I didn't see any others.

Did anyone anywhere apart from at the ride, see a Harley, they must have all been there!

i was there, on my red storm, i was with guys on an R1 and a Victory something or other and aprillia 1000, and totally agree a harley convention, and i did spot a standard yellow storm no lowers on, but no one was with it so couldnt ask if they were on here, the day was superb, and very humbling, i had a look at the southern iraq memorial with all the brass plates with details on, and some had photos stuck in the tops, and how young these guys looked, brought a lump to my throat i have to admit
