Looking good.

I have the Variobars on but without the risers. I'll have to tackle that at some point.

Yup once the angle is worked out for the top spacer, the lads in the workshop will then have to copy it for underneath. A bit of a pain in the butt, so I have contacted the people who sold me the clamps to see if I can return them. Is a shame not to use these one as they look the dogs baldrocks so won't be too gutted if they won't take them back, it just means I owe more beer to the lads on the milling machine.

it was alot easier for me as i have blade forks a yokes .
have you shown them up to the bike yet to see if you need to remove some fairing ?

with my set up i didnt need to as i had 2mm clearance to the fairing as the switch gear sat either side of the fairing .
but going by the looks of what your doing you might have to remove quite a bit
and spoil that lovely yellow paint

92 blade i used but you need to make wheel spacers to use the storms wheel and calliper spacers .
94-97 will bolt on and use the storms front wheel and use renthals easy and they have better forks (compression dampening) .

i will get round to doing a how to sometime

Yes had it offered up on the bike as well and it will need the fairing cutting even to clear the bars with no switch gear.

That is one reason why I am thinking I might not use an angled spacer, I might machine the bottom of the clamp to match the required angle so this will drop the height of the bars.

Hi...if you have a look at my post - link is below and see that I have used the same type of risers as in the above posts. Mines were 3" up and 2" back. Have Renthal superbike bars on.

I only had to make up longer braided brake lines. All the control cables are ok.

My brake lines are assembled using a double banjo at the master cylinder, then running two seperate lines to each caliper, thus doing away with the existing splitter on the ffront of the frame.

Riding position is superb. I had to cut away the fairing a bit.

I can take a few close up photos and post them if you think it will help you decide.
