Rear caliper retaining bolts
Rear caliper retaining bolts
someone please confirm, the larger bolt nearest the front of the bike I cannot move, now just making sure it isnt a weird thread and that its the same as usual, is it normal for these bolts to be solid?

No. 13 - normal AFAIK probably seized - try some localised heat on the head of the stubborn bolt / but protect the main part of the caliper.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Re: Rear caliper retaining bolts
Sorted it in the end and DONT BUY PYRAMID PADS....grrr they are too wide to fit in even witht he piston right at home, the only way I could get the piston in was to take off the brake hose then it went in like a greased stallion at stud....I didnt realise how such a teeny amout of fluid you need, think I did it right but bleeding it through was strange, not like the front calipers, any how it works..for now.
