Its an 8983 triple  i should be able to bolt it
straight on , so long as hes read the number right !.
ref the ram air , yep :D its the sort of bhp im looking for
that its going to want it , and very fortunately i happen to
have a ramair kit knocking around in my garage , as you do .

The build isnt going to start until well into next year , im
still trying to find some of the parts i need , to be honest i
dont think im going to find all the bits i really want for it ,
so im going to have to have a bit of a think to see how i
can get round a few elusive parts :problem:
with a bit of luck i should get there though .

cheers

I finally managed to get this bugger out. The trick was to heat up the engine casing with a blow lamp :).

I also went on a troubleshoot spree of my heated grips. The outcome was that the the controller's voltage regulator's input leg had come adrift so no voltage was getting out to the grips and one of the grips is hosed. I repaired the controller but i've still only got a left working grip :(.

took the battery of the bike and put it on charge, just to top it up before i put it away in the cupboard to keep it warm over winter .

im going to drain and remove the carbs tomorrow and give them a clean ready for refitting in the new year .

cant do to much as my nuts are still very sore :(

Saw? No wonder they are sore

Went to work on mine today - it was warm but very damp. Those Two Brothers cans are killing my fuel economy, I open her up whenever I can just to hear the thunder and grin :Worship:

I feel like Moses, but instead of the Red Sea I part traffic - it's amazing, cars that wouldn't have known I was there before move over before I get close
