Mac is a class act with twisted funny humour . You will get used to it or go mad trying to understand it

Yes I was.alternative_vtr wrote:MacV2 wrote :- cheap a & free buckets can often be picked up from the side of most major roads, they may have dried plaster or something in them & often have no handles...but their free, what's not to like It wasn't broken till I got hold of it!!!
You are winding us up? If my life was that sad that I have to scour the roadsides for old buckets and take them home, knock out plaster and clean it up for washing my bike I think I would end it all![]()
A bucket costs a couple of quid, just buy one, if you are that desperate for a bucket then you obviously need to cancel your broadband subscription and not bother with forums and treat yourself to a bumper set of bucketsI can't believe you actually recommend we do that.
When you read it, did you not see the bit ''Top Tip'' (as in Viz Top Tip ) ?
I thought It was mildly amusing if not funny, but not as funny as I found your post TBH.
I have 3 perfectly serviceable buckets none of which have ever had plaster in them, so I don't need to buy any more thanks.
Would you stick your hand in a fire if I recommended that ?

Mac. Pinch of salt at the ready...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Re: Bike washing items&cleaning a bike
Just buy another one in the Spring, before prices rise.
Only £400 or so if you get one with knackered CCT's and swap yours over.
That's less than you'd spend on AutoPolish Extravanganza Pro Multi-use, Zebra chipolata Ultrapolish Shiny-Glym, probably.
And the old one can be scrapped for spares.

How did you know that Zebra chipolata was such a food polish.Zebra chipolata

The funny thing is that if a bike could be bought for £400 it would work out cheaper except all the parts would need cleaning before swapping over.

I need to start spell checking properly.
Half the time I don't look at the keys and sort of touch type as I half no where the keys are.

Cleanliness is important.
I wash mine every year whether it needs it or not.

Don't always bother with the bike, though.
