But in theory that's just gonna create more accidents, more people driving outside of their limits..cybercarl wrote:That's was exactly what I was thinking. Just slow down to look at the screensIf they really want to keep traffic flowing. Get rid of the stupid speed restrictions like the 50mph environmental friendly bullshit zones. In fact, just get rid of the speed limits altogether

Not according to the council trials in Coventry, and I think there are some trials similar going on in parts of Europe. Take all the rules away and people concentrate a lot more on what is going on around them. The theory being like on an ice rink. You have lots of people going in all directions and very few of them crash into each other because they are looking around more and concentrating on what is going on around them. Driving too slow is just as dangerous. Hence the reason they are putting these screens up.But in theory that's just gonna create more accidents, more people driving outside of their limits..
That is a very very good point. There is not enough room for all the emergency services let alone another lorry carrying screens.
Can we try this again, in English!!!thumperslaw wrote:Wow I could of mine some much cheap for them

I don't know if you've ever ridden in Coventry... But every time I nip into Cov I genuinely fear for my life with some of the drivers...cybercarl wrote:Not according to the council trials in Coventry, and I think there are some trials similar going on in parts of Europe.
