Best thing to do Mister Stu, in my opinion is to say "I am doing a ride out on this date, on this route, at this time and meeting at this place and if ya'll wanna join me, I'll see you there.

Otherwise, if you try and make a date, time and place to suit everyone, you might end up driving yourself crazy

Note: I've been on a few ride-outs on my own using this method though, but I still got to ride out.

Exmoor has stunning scenery but the road surfaces are crap, either broken up or the middle of the lanes have loads of dirt and gravel on them, a real shame as They used to be really good but the last few years the surfaces have got bad, A39 Atlantic highway is a good road and the surface is better, same for Hatherleigh, Okehampton, Tavistock way. In general Somerset roads surfaces worst, devon better, Cornwall better again. will leave it now for the OP to set the route, time, date etc

I think Riders in bridgewater is out of the question because i can only do Sundays and its not open .. maybe somewhere else in bridgewater or surrounding area to get a breakfast and then head out???

Racing with CRMC, doing post classic 1300 production and superbike1 classes. First round is Brands on 23/24th March, then it's roughly one a month til mid september.

Got 5 wins, 8 fastest laps, 32 podiums and 2nd in 600 proddie last year on an ailing old XJ600. Would be nice to do better this year, but won't get to test the Kat before Brands so learning as i go early on

Never been to Darley moor, is it a proper track, lol. I'll have to learn it quick as plenty of others know it well.

Darley is one of the flat, old airfield perimeter road type tracks. I never raced there, but my mate did when he was on 125s and he never liked it much.
