Your welcome, but I'm pretty sure your Storm will be up and running with no problems. It's only a few valves. The worst bit is doing the work. If your not mechanically minded then it can seem a bit daunting or a total nightmare. Don't just write the bike off if the rest of it is all good, bodyworks etc.

There has been many people on this forum that have been in the same situation as yourself. Unfortunately the CCT issue is bad from Honda to begin with. The important thing is once it's back up and running is to either go with the stop mod, you need new Honda tensioners if doing this now you have had a failure. Or go down the manual tensioner route so you don't have this happen again.

Think positive and look at it as a learning curve.

We wll all be looking out for a cheap rear head on ebay for you now, you watch.

ive ordered a rear head arrives tuesday, i will need to crack on with it as i cant be going to hastings may day run via car it wont be the same
