Always plan ahead

Post by alternative_vtr »

well I got up early, put my scruffy clothes on, moved my van, got the wife to help get the bike on my stand (lots of scowling from her 8O ) got radio on, then rubber gloves all set to change my brake hoses and then the penny dropped......... I dont have any brake fluid.

Gutted, been thinking about doing this all week, pity I wasnt in the scouts!

Come back in the house to sulk now and some forum therapy

It drives me nuts waiting on parts. I am all ready to go on my forks, just waiting for a few more parts to show up. Not having something always slows the process down. :(

I bet if you wanted to tile your bike your wouldn't struggle for parts then.

That is so true. You will find mechanics don't service their vehicles as often as they should and wait for something to break before fixing it.

Now go and fix that seat or you will be in the dog house.

 Me too. And it's normally the basic maintenance servicing stuff. It's more fun to diagnose and fix something when it's broke rather than prevent it from breaking.
