Al, if you have it and have space to bring, would I be able to use your compression gauge?

I will put compression tester in my tool pack
It would be interesting to do a compression test on that Blue thing I built as well. That's if it's not raining. :roll:

How comes you want to do a compression test then Griff.

Carl, it's just that when I broke down a year ago (coil & vacuum pipe at same time!) the hippy mechanic that recovered bike , whilst diagnosing the fault, mentioned that the compression was down on one of the cylinders. Since then the bikes obviously fixed but I want to check compression as it feels a strong engine!

well we are at the day before and the Met Office forecast shows that the wolverhampton area will have showeres with some heavy in the middle of the day, and then tailing off mid afternoon.


Thats not real rain, so you will be fine coming up from london mmarr.....mr pineapple

Tools and wotnot packed already including standard air filter. Is JCN 2 on the M5 the best one to take, then cut across onto Oldbury rd/high st and along into cradley heath.

Google maps is more reliable than satnav. Then it's in my head and I don't have to keep looking at, and relying on something else to get me lost. :biggrin
