I have not made my mind up if I like them or not Lloyd. I shall wait and see how the progress goes and how they look with some nice hex head bolts. So your going for the minimalist look then.

Still undecided :-( I like the minimalist look but I like the classic look like al mentioned .
If I get time tomorrow I will make a few more sets in different designs but I will be using Allen cap head s/s bolts :-)

Nice job Lloydie  I would go for the design you have in the photo's precisely for the reason Al mentioned, the Y shape is on loads of bikes, the single arm reaching back to the hanger looks good.

I agree Lloydie; the slim minimalist approach looks good. Good luck. Griff.

Bugger all to the bike, but did treat myself to a set of new leathers. RST Slice, 2 pc, black, £332. Not bad me thinks, and well chuffed to get into a size I could only dream about 6 months ago !!

Oil and filter change. My first time with the 'storm- I had a man do it last year! Easy enough but I was getting concerned when re filling- getting close to the 3.9l and still not sighted on glass.... Then all of a sudden the oil level appears! Phew.

Hope to make my carb changes after the really helpful feedback from the brummy Dyno day. down on pilots, up on mains, then ill see how mixture sits & balance.
