you can't get away with it with white wheels.....
Well... Charcoal grey is the best I have found... It hides the dirt very well... I should know...

But it does look splendid... Oh how I'd want it if it wasn't for the cleaning...

Guys many thanks for the comments, i know that i will need to keep cleaning them but i do wash my bike after everyride anyway, i had a Ducato Darmah back in 1977 and i had that sprayed similar colours, the Honda is a far better bike but i still love the Red and White combo.
leaving at 8am for Austria so wont be on for 10 days, enjoy all this great weather. regards Paul.

Have to agree with that, I took same option when I painted my bike earlier in the year and couple years ago when I was tidying up my old CBR1000f.. Every couple of cleans I give my wheels a quick wax over.. makes keeping the wheels clean much easier especially if you got paddock stands to chuck under the bike.. just spin the wheel while wiping, easy peesie.

Like your wheels by the way, the rim tape finishes them off nice.... Been looking for ideas for rim tape without going down the solid line all way around route, may pinch your idea

I like it. I have to get the back wheel done and I really like the white. Where did you get the rear number board from? I can only find the front on eBay. Thanks

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Hi Both the front and rear are from Motografix on e-bay. the rear ones are actually for an SP1 but i liked them and simply wrapped then around for a different look. This company supply great items and i have used them for years. I had used them for my FZ1000 too. They used to make VTR 1000 ones but stopped for some reason. I love the Red storms but they are a bit "Red" i may get a bit done along the front mudguard yet!!!

I hada ducati years ago in red and white and loved it, it blew up though at 8000 rpm!!!! chuffin belts!!!! VTR is as good i think and more reliable. :biggrin
