What some pics of the mods you need to do to it in order to make it work on your VTR?

Then I guess I'll hi jack your thread then......

This is what you start with:

This one is a 954 lower but you can see the difference between it and a stock clamp. IMHO the stock lower is the major weak link in the stock front end but that is another topic.....

I did forget to take pics when I first started but you should get the idea....

The two issues are you need to relieve the steering stops slightly to clean the fairing stay and also extend the stops out a bit. How much depends on if you move the rads back or not.
On this one I have started to work one side (also when I realized I should document the process) you can see my rough pen marks and also the black dot is where I had a buddy drill the holes for me in his mill and he made through holes instead of blind holes but either way will work fine:

When you get done it should look like this:

Yes the steering stop holes have been filled with JB weld to keep things smooth when the clamp was painted.

Now on the other side you end up with a stop like this:

and yes it is bleeding.....lol actually there was a bit of tapping fluid left in the hole and I was too lazy to pull it apart and clean it for a pic.....

I really don't remember if this stop is for the moved rads or in the stock location but with this set up you can set the stops to whatever works best for you.

then the final test fit :

Then after all that I found out I needed an SP1 lower to make it work the way I wanted....... :Ball Kick:
