Post by philsmith »

Hi,

Wanting performance mods for my yr.2000 firestorm,

Can anyone recommend anything?

Thinking of having it 'Superchipped'

any experiences much appreciated.

Mines been superchipped, has a K and N filter Dyno jet and Akropovik full race titanium system and I dont think its much quicker than my old standard storm. Sounds great though and is probably a bit smoother through the rev range. Personally Id save your money and spend £12.00 on a 15 tooth front sprocket.

Thanks, sounds like good advice.

It already has Ixil pipes a dynojet stage 1 & K&N. Got the Dyno results last night & only gets to 107 bhp, & my local 'tuner' who did it said the same about having it chipped. 'loads of cash & little gain'.

Didn't thik about the sprocket change though. Ta :!: :D

Just goes to show the differences in bikes.

Mine has been Dyno'ed at 108 with just Devil cans and a PiperX airfilter.
