Re: Britten Tribute VTR #2
love the look you have got there, and little things like the fake cam belts and pullys work well
but fit some nice rear sets to this one

Really nice work!
A side note though... Why not actually put a brace on the swing arm, or swap it out? Sure, that cover gives it a nice look, but I hat things that are done that way, aesthetics over function, in that purely fake way... I'd say you'd get mighty close with an SP2 swing arm, and perhaps a little additions, and gain performance as well... Or a 900RR brace, placed on the underside...

Wow, nice work! I remember seeing your first bike all over the motorcycle forums. Just curious, but how do you get to the airbox on bike #2? Looks like you have to remove the clipons, fairing stay, and front & back bolts to the fuel tank.
Also, I have to agree with Tweety. You spent all this effort to make a tribute bike, you may as well spend a little more and swap out the swing arm or weld in a brace. Also, Danmoto now makes low priced adjustable rearsets for our bikes, so you might want to look into those as well.

I do agree it is really nice work but I also agree that on this type of bike you really should get the suspension sorted.
I would say along with the rear brace it needs a proper front end and brakes so it can actually work.....but that is just me

Loud pipes don't save lives, knowing how to ride your bike will save your life.
Re: Britten Tribute VTR #2
It is a bit of a major to service air filter and rear plug for that matter, Yes all the fairing/bars have to be removed, I've been painting the pink bits and will load some more pic's when I am happy with them.
