Post by robby_firestorm »

Hi

If I buy a front cylinder with bent valves am I able to replace with the ones from mine or would it have damaged it somehow?

Thanks

You can do but the issue your going to have is that the valves would have worn together with the valve seats to create a good seal. You should lightly grind them in with some valve grinding paste into the head they are going on. You will also have to redo your valve clearances. If it was me I would put new valve stem oil seals on as well.

As long as the bent valves didn't damage the valve guides it's fairly simple......... as Carl pretty much covered it
