Cadwell Park - Evening - Sunday 11th August
Re: Cadwell Park - Evening - Sunday 11th August
I shouldnt worry about noise test steve, I have straight through race cans and they were 102db when tested at cadwell, 105db was the limit.

If you're up for riding, then im pretty sure if you're there you will get on, there are guaranteed to be people that haven't turned up.
Get there nice and early and see what happens

Re: Cadwell Park - Evening - Sunday 11th August
cant get there early it will be about 6:30pm before I get there, I'll be going on a b-road blast to cadders then a more direct route home.

Steve failed the initial noise test. 111dB, limit was 105dB. Bearing in mind dB is a logarithmic scale, every 10dB is a doubling in volume, 6dB over the limit is a long way over. Anyway he had his standard cans, so swapped them and passed with them on. Problem was, they wouldn't clamp on properly, so they were held on with tie wraps and Steve's boot

Mine was 100dB apparently, that's much higher than I had expected. Cadwell has a limit of 105dB, but some tracks have 101dB or 102dB, which is cutting it pretty fine.

Re: Cadwell Park - Evening - Sunday 11th August
Thanks again for your help yesterday Chris. I don't think you could be any less prepared for a trackday than I was
Properly enjoyed myself yesterday. It was a great feeling to gradually learn the track and get quicker. I'm looking at Oulton Park on the 27th now!
Bellypan kept hitting the ground on tight righthanders and my boots kept touching down even though i had them right up on top of the pegs. Really off putting. Fitting the new rearsets and taking off the bellypan next time.
I think I saw a black storm as we were leaving. Must have been you Diabolus. Those A-roads coming out of Cadwell looked good on a bike They were completely clear

Re: Cadwell Park - Evening - Sunday 11th August
Well since my PC is fcuked again, I can't put the video together. Here are some stills from the day.
I almost went over back going over the mountain....oops

Me following Steve

Me following my brother

A random guy binned his really nice GSXR. He was riding pretty fcuking quick. This is at the bottom of the left coming down the hill. I think he must have put the power on too early and high sided. His bike looks like it scraped down the middle of the straight bit of track and the guy was laid to the side on the grass.

A few of Steve

Pictures now up on the photographer's page.
I think I might buy a couple of these and get them printed.

Hey chris, in the middle of that bunch of shots it looks like you managed to get up the inside of Jorge Lorenzo and are trying to put a move on Chris Walker
