Nope. Just turn up and camp. Don't arrive too late though as the office will shut at 7pm
Hmm, we won't be there until at least 9pm, it's 3 and half hours from home. Ill speak to Flatty and find out what time he is getting there, otherwise ill have to call them and let them know.

We're leaving Aust at around 1:30 and I wont have my time machine with me :P

Just come the extra few miles and meet at Aust? The roads once off the bridge are worth it. Besides, we'll be going through Usk on the way up.
Sorry, yeah it'll probably be more like 2pm then, the route from Aust is a bit of motorway, then only about 4 miles off the motorway to Raglan - unless you're going a different route? If so then could meet you at the point you get off the motorway?

If Flatty is already there and set up, it should be ok as he can let you through the barrier, just pay up in the morning.

Come via Chepstow and meet us in Aust. Seriously, it'll be worth it, especially if you have your camera on  (unless its pissing down)

Just phoned the site and the lady said to phone back next week. Apparently there will be no problems getting in, and she said that by next week there might not be a gate anyway...

Ok then my brother and I (and poss Flatty and Ady depending on their plans) will head down to Aust and meet you there. Who's coming from there on the Friday?

Dave & I rely on dog sitter daughter and she's got packing and a trip back home to Newcastle planned leaving late on that Saturday to avoid traffic so we had a good look at the map, we'll be there on Sat morning for coffee and a chit chat, look at Bennys picnic bench etc and we're fine for the Group ride up to Bala and back down and will prob come back to the camp for a quick 'comfort break' and a coffee depending on time and we'll head home as we live not far from Brecon and Builth :cool2 and we did that loop today so we can do that route any day of the week but appreciate that folk who are not normally in Wales, will relish the chance to do the 483 and round Builth Wells and Brecon, great roads! so we'll see you on the day  Think we are around 49 miles from the camp site heading from our place so we pretty much head up a lovely road to get there.

Dave is taking Fri night shift off so he's all fresh and ready to go on the day! :biggrin

Cya all then..

Coming from the south west/east, the attendee list says;

Darknomad - Londonshire
bazza - EssexVilleShirenessland
Tony.mon - Kentshire - No bike :?:
Jamie in Colchester - EssexVilleShirenessland
BigVeeGrin - Buckinghamshire
playerone - Bristolshire - Can't make it now
Me - Hampshire

Not sure who is definitely turning up except bazza and jamie (and me of course)

getting close now boys and girls :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I have just started planning the GPS waypoints and petrol stops for the fast route on saturday, so if there is any late changes to the route then time to shout out.

the fast route is over 300 miles so need all bikes filled up before we get together at the set off time [dont wait till we are ready to go and then tell me you need petrol], and you will need to be able to get at least 90 miles from a tank.

As Geo has us down for a few nice B roads, you need to make sure you take on body and brain fuel as well, cause you dont want your concentration dropping at the end of the day, so drink pleanty of water and eat loads of mars bars on the way :D

and take waterproofs and have some tread on your tyres and read the thread about the dos and donts of the marker system.........see you next friday night

I think there are usually quite a few people that drop out the week before for one reason or another.

Maybe get a new list together now of definite attendees?

And how about knowing who we need to wait around for on Saturday morning before we all leave?

Hopefully they'll be sensible enough to contact me or Al as run leaders before Saturday by pm or phone to let us know?
