I've been talking to Dave about it as rain is forecast in all the places we are hitting on Sat :-(  it is coming over tonight overnight and looks set until Sunday          ...I'm REALLY REALLY hoping they A) Have it wrong and B) It's not pishing/lashing it down, we'll be there.. If it were a short blat out, fair enough, but we have nigh on 120 miles to camp and back with the ride asides so mega lot of miles in drenching weather.... boy oh boy... Hate this! HOPE they get it wrong and it's just a shower... booooo hooooooooooooooo.. I know it's the ride/craic/ banter/but riding in lashing rain and getting soaked= no fun in that at all... :sad2 PLEASE let them get it wrong for Sat!!!!!! Not like they ever got it wrong in past.....

Next year, change the date to 1 week earlier lol..It's been scorching down here for weeks on end!

Been mulling it over. Provided I do indeed get paid tomorrow (CFO has been away for a while so it's been a bit off the past couple o' months) then I will come, otherwise I can't come at all

Fingers are crossed

Freaky. It seems my mate Mike was already at the camp site spending some time away on the bike. I nominate him as my representative.

Edit: Oh. It seems he is heading home tomorrow.

Ok everyone, I know due to the bad weather forecast people must be thinking twice about coming, hey what the hell, let’s just make the effort to turn up and take it from there, ya never know it might just be dull with a couple of showers :D
When we get up on Saturday If it’s ok you can go for a ride out, if it ends up pi**ing down you can do something else, I can fully understand if you see no pleasure in riding around in the p**ing rain with very low cloud where you can’t see anything except the road and white lines in front of you, I feel the same, but all is not lost, we can always stay on the site in one of the larger tents chat and drink, or go to the pubs and do the same, Rhayader is a lovely small place to visit with plenty of walks, pubs and eating places, plus the locals are freindly, we’ll have a good time no matter what, think of it as a chance to meet up with like minded forum members
Plus we've got Martins picnic bench to plonk down on the campsite

So come on guys and girls chins up

Probably because Mid Wales has the worse record for floods when it comes down hard :eek2 :eek2 and it is forecast more rain than there was for a flood round those parts around a month or so ago :-( I think it's gonna be " look of the window on the day n see" bummer..not impressed cos we have had mega weather here ALL week for months on end with barely any rain.. :sad2 :sad2

Cheeky Kev has a point though, will look and see on Sat and if not too bad, will ride up to camp, have a few hours in shelter, cafe/chit chat etc and ride home ..worse case!!

Spot on Kev.... It will be a good crack, and if we don't fancy a big ride out, we can set off later and do as much or as litle as we please and then head to the pub, or flattys tent
