I've just discovered my rear shock is ride height adjustable...

I'll still have a read through that thread to hear what other people have discovered with playing about with ride heights.
I've been reliably informed to try a shock length of 348mm, it's currently set at 353!!!

Re: Got my wheels back!
Jamie,
its ok to stack the spacers up to get adjustment, I just use 1mm thick washers with 2 slots cut in them and have 3 in there at the moment [plus the ride height adjuster out by 3mm].
I found it easier to slip a spacer under the top mount than to adjust the shock, so I set the shock on the low side before I fitted it then add spacers till it feels right on the road.

Re: Got my wheels back!
Thanks Chris, seems a shame to subject them to road grime and general abuse from my tomfoolery, but hey ho!
Thanks Ali, seems a good idea to use spacers if the adjuster on the shock is a pain!![Thumbup ](./images/smilies/icon_thumbup.gif)
