Yarp, Lloydie did a good job on the brakes. Got caught out by their strength when a car wanted to occupy my space in the overtaking lane of a dual carriagewaylloydie wrote:All but a little air bleed from the top banjo in the next few daysagentpineapple wrote:keep up the good work ymv............![]()

Rads and scoops yes, running light no no no, makes it look mad max lol
I did mine and sent what spares I had out to some others on here, you will love the look when you finished the rads,
I'll try dig out a picture soon
what did you use to hold it in place? High temperature silicone is best as hot glue gun glue will melt in summer

Today I drained to cooling system as one hose had a pin hole in and the front cylinder drain plug was weeping . So with them fixed i changed the fan fuse than I ran it up to temp to see if all was well and it was

Carbs are a little out as you can see with the rough idle so I will sync them and set the tps .
Oh and I replaced the clutch slave cylinder as the other one was letting air in .

Gave the chain a good clean down to get all old stuff off then adjusted it and put fresh chain lube on, polished all the bodywork with autoglym and swapped the Penske shock back to the original one.

Yes, well I thinks so. It will be going on to my big engine popup Katana at some point. It's 15mm too long at the moment, but will offer it in to see how ridiculously high it makes the bike then get it shortened but not by much as I want the kat raised a bit at the back anywayKev L wrote:You found a home for the Penske shock fella? On the firestorm it was good but the spring was a bit too hard for me, never got round to ordering another spring though.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
That's interesting Kev because I'm aiming to send mine to Penske uk for service etc. and weight related spring as it was on the bike when I got it this year so I don't know it's history. Wonder if they'll be cheaper for a springKev L wrote:If it helps mate Spa design on 01543-434580 do all the bit's you need to rebuild Penske shocks, springs, hoses, etc.
