Brighton speed trials

Following the death of a competitor in 2011 followed by the cancellation in 2012 whilt the coroners inquiry took place, they are now thinking of banning it completely. I can understand restricting the classes to reduce the speeds reached but the simple knee jerk cancellation idea is rather draconian.
