Motorcycle Brake Bleeding Kit / Bleeder / Tool
Motorcycle Brake Bleeding Kit / Bleeder / Tool
Great product and excellent service
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291045579752? ... 1439.l2649
I have purchased a simple but effective Brake Bleeding Kit from Ebay seller phipee It consists of a tube with a one way valve within it, which is attached to a bag to collect old fluid in.
This has got to be one of the cheapest and best bleeding solutions I have found for making one man bleeding as simple and effective process as possible. Attach the end of the tube to the bleed nipple, loosen nipple and pump brakes away until you see no air bubbles, lock off nipple and move onto the next calliper.
Old fluid passes through the one way valve and is contained in the bag with no mess. Simple and effective!!!
Service from this seller is also very good. I ordered it on Monday and it arrived in the post by Tuesday morning. So a great item, great price with great service deserves my recommendation.

Re: Motorcycle Brake Bleeding Kit / Bleeder / Tool
is it wrong to enjoy doing it the hard way ?
i like the challenge to remove all the air and get good pressure in the system i think all these easy tools take the fun out of tinkering and will mean i'll haVE to spend more time with the other half .
i do like the simplicity of it tho

Re: Motorcycle Brake Bleeding Kit / Bleeder / Tool
I have used a syringe in the past, but I found this hard going on my own as it requires two hands to control the syringe properly. Problem when one wants to open and close the bleed nipple! Not only that it is quite messy, especially when one want to empty the syringe of fluid it's collected. Either pop the plunger out or squeeze it and risk the tube popping off the end and squirting fluid everywhere.
I have found myself reverting to the old fashioned way and doing it by hand numerous times. I then got around to buying a Mityvac (waste of money ) as this has issues with the connector that fits over the nipple. Not only that, it's kind of clumbersome to hold and to have to squeeze the trigger. Not perfect. The simplicity of the one way valve and a bag with no mess is great....and it works!

You beat me to it! Catheter bag, for sure.
Keep it once your brakes are bled, and use it before the District Nurse comes round to do your diabetes/insulin/blood sugar/UTI test.
The brake fluid/urine combo should ensure that you get free healthcare for the rest of your natural......
And probably your own parking space outside A+E.
What's wrong with a jam jar and peg, with a bit of airline tubing with a 1 way valve in?

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
