After market Headers

Post by lh3110 »

Is there much point in changing the standard headers/down pipes.
Or are the standard ones as good as any. In terms of performance (other than weight) etc

Seen these on the bay. They look standard, but was wondering if a 2nd hand set came up would there be much point in changing?
Or are link pipes & cans the only real bit worth changing?

Them on eBay are standard nice but standard .

The standard headers are good with a little mod , ie remove this weld inside the header that meets the engine Image Image .
Changing the links and end cans also help free up a little power and noise but the best thing about changing them is weight saving as the standard cans weigh a ton .
