Hi all.been a while since ive been on.and even longer since i was at the bike.changed job just before christmas which has allowed me a bit more money to pick up small bits and pieces here and there.

Now....
I cut off the ignition barrell and wired in a master switch from a truck on the left hand side under the seat and modified the fireblade clip on to take the vtr throttle assembly.

Changed the oil which was the worst ive ever seen out of a bike,cleaned and gapped the plugs....made up an auxilery fuel supply...new battery....and plenty of swinging(not the dirty type).....but no spark...

Forgot the connector for the pulse sensor..plug it in and ran fine first go:-)

Still have an awful lot to do.but im so happy it didnt explode

This being a public forum i'd change/delete the bit about the master switch on your post...we're honest folk on here but not everyone that browses is..if i was a thief there's no better place to find your next victim than on public forums...

Yep I'd remove sensitive info like that .
I too have fitted a master switch but I ain't telling where it is and even if it was found it still won't start :-)

Hey guys! This bike will only be on a track and stored in my friends garage as my zzr is next for a rebuild.but tbanks for the thought anyway.

Its got twin devil exhausts which have been cut down.theyre the loudest things iv ever heard....crazy.the bike could be heard idling over the whole estate...threw in baffles today and tidied up the wiring..
