Anyone had that before? Bike was up to temp, just died the moment I went to change down. Don't want it happening mid corner.

Part of the reason is the bike is only turning 2K RPM while you are riding.

Get the revs up a bit and the problem should go away.

It is a DOHC 4V per cyl engine so it wants to spin to make any power or stay running.
Loud pipes don't save lives, knowing how to ride your bike will save your life.

I'd already rolled off prior to this, either way, it shouldn't just cut so suddenly.

Should of dumped the clutch to get it going again .
It's happened to me a few times on il4s and as hawk says they like to rev .
Is your clutch dragging a little ?

Ive had it happen due to having an idle speed set to low a few times in the past
