It's not mad, it's the noise my VTR is making at the moment!

Hopefully it's just the valve clearances. It's going in to revolution soon to have them sorted.

Is that not something to do with the cam chain tensioners??

I'm not sure what it is, but Roger has heard it and said it doesn't sound like a tensioner failure. His money is on it being head or valve related, possibly the clearances. He's also suggested it might be that the clearances are tight on one side of the cam and loose on the other but hasn't heard another VTR making this noise!

Which is obviously very reassuring...

Worst case, if it goes bang I'll get Del to build me an engine. :wink2
