Its good mate, not in a trackday sense obviously, but all day comfort, god knows what the fuel range is, and already made a bloke on an SP2 look daft. Cars tend to get out of the way due to both the size I think, and the headlight is like the floodlights at Spurs. Goes well to, not as mad as the Storm but no slouch, and will cruise along at 2000 rpm all day long. Now its got a set of pipes on it, I'll probably end up revving it a bit harder. Heavy like a wombles at a standstill, weight dissapears on the move. Its getting loaded up and ridden possibly to Romania, Serbia, Croatia in the summer.

If the weathers alright I might turn up next Sat.

I think you made the right choice there and it will be a fantastic bike for touring on. You could have got a more modern bike, but there's a good chance they would all come with more electronics and things to go wrong. At least with this it's reasonably basic, you have experience with the Storm engine so are pretty familiar with it as there are so many similarities. It would be interesting to know how it compares with the fuel consumption. Obliviously you have a bigger tank though.

That's going to be some trip you have planned there. Take plenty of pics for us. Be nice to see some pics of the scenery while on your travels. Take it easy mate and stay safe.
