First proper ride on some good roads on the storm, lovely ride up round usk, monmouth and over via the lanes to chepstow and tintern.

Back tyre now looks like this after 60 miles.

PR4s are SO confidence inspiring, just feels so sure footed. I gave them quite a hammering today I think the fact they still look very new is testament to how long they should last. Riding on a PR1 last summer the same got it all balled up and melty.

If it's only being used for a phone charger or satnav you don't need a relay, but as there will always be the temptation to plug in something that draws more current such as an airbed inflator, or travel kettle a relay will be better. If you want to use the port for charging the battery via a solar panel or Optimate you will need to wire it direct to battery.

I did it! I did it! I did it!!!!!!! :D finally for my knee down! My hips are killing now though. Did not realise how much effort it was. Thank you Lloyd for showing me the ropes and being more confident in me than I was in myself.

It's only a little touch but I managed it 3 or 4 times :D Image
